The campaign is intended for:

• New UniCredit Bank clients
• Individuals who have not held a current account with UniCredit Bank during the previous 12 months

Employees of UniCredit Bank and selected UniCredit Group companies are excluded from the campaign.

Eligibility for the reward starts no earlier than the calendar month following the month in which the account was opened. The reward is paid in the calendar month following the month in which all campaign conditions have been met.

Interruption of payments: If your regular utility payments are interrupted, reward payments will be temporarily suspended. Once the payments resume, reward payments will continue. If you close your account, your entitlement to any future rewards will cease.

The following payment types qualify:

• Standing order
• Direct debit
• Monthly payment

The payment must be made to Energetika Slovensko a.s. (ZSE / VSE).

Cash withdrawals and cash deposits at ATMs are not considered cashless card transactions.  

If an energy overpayment is refunded to your account, the regular payment condition is considered fulfilled.

Can I receive the reward if I am already a UniCredit Bank client?

No. The campaign is intended exclusively for new clients who have not held a current account with the bank during the previous 12 months.

What if I open more than one account?

Only the first account opened will be included in the campaign.

Can I combine this offer with another bank campaign?

No, unless the terms and conditions of the other campaign explicitly state otherwise.

What if I forget to make card payments in one month?

You will not receive the reward for that particular month. However, reward payments will resume in the next month in which you again meet all campaign conditions.

When will I receive my first reward?

The reward is credited in the calendar month following the month in which you meet all conditions (utility payment plus 3 card payments).

If you do not meet either condition, the account maintenance fee is EUR 4.90 per month.

Yes. You can easily open a current account online within just a few minutes, from anywhere. To open an account online, you must be a citizen of the Slovak Republic, at least 18 years old, have a valid identity card that has been issued for more than 30 days, as well as a phone number, an email address, and a mobile phone with a camera. If you do not meet any of these requirements or if online account opening does not suit you, we will be happy to assist you at one of our branches.

Yes. You can arrange an authorised overdraft facility for your account. This allows your account balance to go into negative territory up to a pre-approved limit. It serves as a financial reserve that is available quickly whenever you need it. Please note that an overdraft is a form of credit and interest is charged on the utilised amount according to the current price list. It is therefore best suited for short-term financing needs rather than long-term borrowing.

There is no fee for arranging an overdraft, which can be activated immediately at any branch.

The bank does not charge fees for ATM withdrawal transactions. However, operators of other ATMs may charge their own fees. You will always be informed of any fee on the ATM screen and have the option to cancel the transaction.
